The Children\u2019s Brain Tumor Network (CBTN)<\/a> has announced that David Kram, MD, MCR, FAAP<\/a>, Associate Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Hematology\/Oncology, a respected clinician and long-standing advocate for post-mortem tissue donation, will serve in a new leadership capacity supporting Gift from a Child (GFAC)\u2014a CBTN partner focused on advancing pediatric brain tumor research through post-mortem tissue donation.<\/p>\n

In this role, Dr. Kram will help shape clinical and research strategy, ensuring physicians and families receive clear, compassionate guidance throughout the donation process while guaranteeing that specimens are used in ways that maximize their scientific impact and honor these invaluable gifts. His contributions will help strengthen best practices, improve clinician engagement across partner institutions, and reinforce alignment between GFAC\u2019s family-facing mission and CBTN\u2019s research and biospecimen operations.<\/div><\/div>\n
