Call for Abstracts and Program<\/b><\/p>\n

Dear Nephrology Fellowship Program Directors,<\/p>\n

It is our pleasure to announce the 2012 Annual Pediatric Nephrology Senior Fellows Conference to take place on January the 24th<\/sup><\/b>, 2012 in association with the 14th<\/sup> Annual Renal Research Institute International (RRI) Advances in CKD Conference (Jan. 25th<\/sup> to 27th<\/sup>, 2011), in Tarpon Springs, FL.<\/b><\/p>\n

To be eligible for a travel scholarship,<\/b> pediatric fellows are required to:<\/p>\n

a) 1. Accept a 4-day commitment<\/b> to attend both: the Pediatric Nephrology Program (Jan 24th<\/sup>) and the RRI Conference meeting (Jan 25th<\/sup> to the 27th<\/sup>) plus travel time.<\/p>\n

b) 2. Obtain a letter confirming fellowship status<\/b> and endorsement for attendance to both programs by their fellowship program director.<\/p>\n

c) 3. Submit an original first author abstract by September 15, 2011<\/b> that relates to issues seen in children, adolescents and \/or emerging adults with CKD (Maximum 3000 characters including spaces, title, authors, and affiliations).<\/b> This abstract could describe one of the following:<\/p>\n

1) Original research<\/p>\n

2) Illustrative case series<\/p>\n

3) Case report with defined contribution to patient care or research directions<\/p>\n

4) Continuous quality assurance project (design and\/or outcome)<\/p>\n
