The PGC Data Access Committee (DAC) includes representatives from each workgroup, an administrative assistant, dataset coordinators, three co-chairs, and ex-officio member, Dr. Patrick Sullivan. The goal of the DAC is to develop and maintain simple and efficient procedures for PGC investigators to access PGC data. The DAC is not a permission granting body. Instead it serves as a clearinghouse to 1) liaise with the workgroups to ensure an investigator is in compliance with international, federal, and local data access requirements, 2) provide a transparent infrastructure for requesting data access, and 3) communicate with LISA administrators to ensure access is granted to the correct data sets. The Data Access page provides detailed instructions for any PGC investigator with an approved secondary analysis proposal wishing to access individual-level genotype data.
