Manuel Mattheisen, MD

Manuel Mattheisen is a Professor of Psychiatry, Psychosomatics, and Psychotherapy at the University of Wuerzburg, Germany. Prof Mattheisen is currently working on a study which aims to identify common genetic variation conferring risk to obsessive-compulsive disorder and/ or Tourette’s. In addition, he is studying gene-environment interplays.

Prof Mattheisen co-chairs the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Tourette Syndrome (OCD/TS) of the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium (PGC).
