Reid Olsen, graduate student in Bryan Roth’s lab, successfully defended his PhD June 7, 2019. Congratulations, Reid!
The title of his thesis talk was: “Development of next-generation G protein biosensors for deconvoluting the complexity of GPCR signaling.”
Reid’s family attended his defense and party afterward, including his wife, Maggie, and his parents, Dan Olsen and Ellen Johnson.
Reid, his wife, Maggie, and their dogs and cats will be moving to Oxford, UK in July for a position as a molecular pharmacologist at Exscientia, Ltd. Maggie, will be a school teacher at Larkrise Primary school there.
We wish Reid and Maggie all the best in their new positions and hope they enjoy living in Oxford!
