Waylin Yu, graduate student in Tom Kash’s lab, successfully defended his PhD thesis Sept. 3. Way to go Waylin!

The title of Waylin’s talk was “Sex-specific regulation of pain: A novel role for dopamine and corticotropin releasing factor signaling in the midbrain and extended amygdala.” He made his presentation via zoom.

Waylin will be starting a postdoctoral position with Vikaas Sohal at UCSF in the Fall.
