Congratulations to Danielle Chappell, graduate student in Blossom Damania’s lab, who has won a BWFund Graduate Diversity Enrichment Award! 

Danielle ChappellThe award was based on her research on: “Characterizing the impact of a cellular deubiquitinase on the lifecycle of Kaposi’s Sarcoma-associated Herpesvirus.”

The BWFund Graduate Diversity Enrichment Program (GDEP) provides $5,000 over two years to provide underrepresented minority PhD students (enrolled in NC Institutions of Higher Education) with opportunities for greater science and research enrichment experiences.
