RNAi mediated inhibition of gene expression is a powerful method for identifying genes and their cognate phenotype, whose loss of expression alters the cell phenotype. <strong><a class=\"mail-link\" href=\"mailto:brian_golitz@med.unc.edu\">Brian Golitz<\/a><\/strong> is the Director. <strong><a class=\"external-link\" href=\"http:\/\/cancer.med.unc.edu\/rnaiscreeningfacility\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RNAi Screening Facility website.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Proteomics Center<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-left alignnone\" style=\"width: 100px\" title=\"No photo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/pharm\/johnsonlab\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/769\/2020\/08\/laura-herring.jpeg\" alt=\"Laura Herring, PhD\" width=\"153\" height=\"176\" \/>The UNC Proteomics Center provides researchers with a state-of-the-art facility to identify proteins and to assist in the characterization of protein modification and differential expression.
