Before PhD candidate and HHMI Gilliam Fellow Juanita Limas began researching “Cancer: the cell’s gas pedal,” she ran a program to increase minority representation in STEM fields and served in the Peace Corps in Nicaragua where her work was deemed so useful, she was asked to train other volunteers throughout the country.   Learn more about Juanita in Endeavor’s  Women in Science Wednesdays!
