We look forward to seeing the impact of their contributions in the field. Congrats again on your hard work!
The Human MHC project, titled “Revolutionizing Cancer Therapy by Total Sequencing of the MHC Peptidome,” led by Co-PIs Leon G. Coleman, Benjamin Vincent, Dan Dominguez, Brian Kuhlman, Albert Bowers, Krzysztof Krajewski, and four other teams, has secured $1.87 million in funding for the next 2 years.
Research Challenge
Cancer, the second leading cause of death in the U.S., demands novel therapeutics. Current cancer immune therapies show promise but are limited by cost, pace, and the inability to fully map tumors. There is no affordable way to rapidly screen for key proteins and antigens.
Proposed Solution
The team proposes RAPHA-Seq, a groundbreaking diagnostic and technology platform for single-cell proteomics. This platform aims to enhance understanding of tumor cells and could significantly advance therapeutic targeting and other areas of biomedical science.
