Congratulations to Mingyu Choi, graduate student in the Hahn lab, for receiving a prestigious NSF GRFP Fellowship award!

Mingyu Choi

Mingyu will study how podosomes test the mechanical properties of their environment, and how they regulate phagocytosis. He will develop analogs of adhesion proteins that control and report tension in podosome components, to examine signal oscillations thought to coordinate podosome behavior.
