The annual Pharmacology Award Ceremony and Holiday Celebration was held at the Kenan Center Thursday evening, December 12, 2013. Five awards were given for Staff Excellence and Graduate Student Citizenship.
Staff Excellence Award recipients are Deb Granger, research specialist and member of the Johnson Lab, and Betsy Clarke, webmaster and business services coordinator on the administration staff. Staff Excellence award recipients receive a plaque and a check from the department.
Graduate Student Citizenship Award recipients are Daniel Dominguez, a member of the Wang Lab, Marissa Cann, a member of the Lawrence Lab, and Tasha Blatt, a member of the Nicholas Lab. Student award recipients receive a check from the department.

About 200 members of the Pharmacology department and their families attended the event, which included a visit from Santa for the younger children.
