Please join us in welcoming Dr. Derek Bui, DO to the UNC Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as a Clinical Assistant Professor specializing in Interventional Physiatry.
Dr. Bui earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCLA, followed by a Pain Medicine fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Bui’s clinical focus includes comprehensive pain management and musculoskeletal care, utilizing both non-surgical treatments and image-guided procedures. He is passionate about evidence-based medicine and health equity.
Dr. Bui’s primary responsibilities will be to provide outpatient clinical services at the UNC Spine Center for patients with back and neck pain, musculoskeletal problems, and acute/chronic pain. He will also provide fluoroscopic guided procedures, including epidural, facet, sacroiliac joint and related spine procedures. Welcome, Dr Bui!
