Congratulations to Drs. Lee Shuping, Michael Boyd, and Akash Patel on being accepted as new members to UNC’s Academy of Educators!
They are among 96 other new faculty and resident members who will be inducted into the Academy this year. UNC’s Academy of Educators (“AOE”) was founded on enhancing research and scholarship toward excellence in teaching. They select members who strive for the creation and design of new curricular materials and scholarly research within medical education, and exhibit the willingness to implement new methodology and technology. Through the AOE, Drs. Shuping, Boyd, and Patel will pursue continued leadership in educational initiatives and will participate in the Academy’s programming.
