Our goal is to maximize each patient\u2019s independence and quality of life, and to help the patient regain a productive and rewarding lifestyle.<\/p>\n<h3>Pre- and Post-Prosthetic Programs<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote healing<\/li>\n<li>Ensure prosthetic fit<\/li>\n<li>Improve strength, endurance and range of motion<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate independence at home and in the community<\/li>\n<li>Provide education to the patient and family, including proper prosthesis use and coping skills<\/li>\n<li>Decrease sensitivity and pain as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Integrated Care Model<\/h2>\n<p>Our physiatrists develop and oversee an individualized care plan for each patient which is implemented by our team of rehabilitation professionals.
