Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Interest Group

Statement of Purpose

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill/Duke University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Student Interest Group is a joint student organization at both the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Duke University Medical College which has been founded for the purpose of the enrichment of medical students who have an interest in the field of physiatry which is not limited to potential career choice.

Our objectives are to inform students about the field of physiatry and related allied health sciences, as well as to provide hands-on activity, which will be structured upon a predetermined topic pertinent to the field and also from member input.

Membership includes all students, faculty, and staff who share a common interest with the objectives of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill/ Duke University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Student Interest Group.
