We also offer complete study management for tumor monitoring, dosing, imaging, and collections over time.<\/p>\n<p>Syngeneic Models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grafts or cell lines shared between individuals of identical genetic background, such as mice of the same inbred strain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Allogeneic Models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grafts or cells lines shared between individuals of the same species but different genetic background, such as mice have different strains<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Xenogeneic Models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grafts or cell lines shared between individuals of different species, such as from human to mouse<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We provide a variety of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/ascore\/services-2\/surgical-services\/\">surgical services<\/a> commonly utilized as part of these models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Subcutaneous (unilateral or bilateral) injections<\/li>\n<li>Mammary Fat Pad injections<\/li>\n<li>Intravenous injections<\/li>\n<li>Intraperitoneal injections<\/li>\n<li>Orthotopic Injections\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other Tumor Services:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intra-nasal Inoculations<\/li>\n<li>Intra-tracheal Inoculations<\/li>\n<li>Tumor Line maintenance via tumor passaging<\/li>\n<li>Tumor resection<\/li>\n<li>Tumor biopsies<\/li>\n<li>Patient Derived Xenografts (PDX) in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/unclineberger.org\/tissue-procurement\/\">Tissue Procurement Facility (TPF)<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The PRU offers housing space in barrier, sterile and hot-wash housing for studies we manage.
