Our surgical services are provided as ad-hoc services that include the post-operative period (up to 72 hours), or as part of larger study management. The PRU provides expert surgical technicians as well as all surgical supplies, anesthetics, analgesics, and required monitoring.<\/p>\r\n<h2>Orthotopic Injections Offered:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Mammary fat pad<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Kidney capsule<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Prostate<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Intra-Cardiac<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Intra-thoracic<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Liver<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Portal Vein<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Pancreas<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Cecum<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Intra-Uterine<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Spleen<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Other Survival Surgeries Offered:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Intracerebroventricular Injections (ICV) in neonates<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Intracranial Injections for oncology or viral studies<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Hemi-Splenectomies<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Craniotomies<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Intra-vaginal ring implants<\/li>\r\n\t<li>SC Treatment Patch Implants<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Tumor Biopsy and Resection<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Osmotic Pump Implants<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Hormone Pellet Implants<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h2>Non-survival Procedures Offered:<\/h2>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Perfusions<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Cardiac Punctures<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Lung Inflations<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>The skill level of PRU surgical technicians prevents unnecessary distress and helps ensure consistent results.
