Horticulture Therapy
November 23, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 3:00 pm on Monday, repeating indefinitely

Horticulture Therapy is a complementary therapy, which uses plants and gardening to promote health and wellness. This holistic therapy is rooted in the principle that plants and people share the rhythm of life. Both plants and people grow and change and respond to nurture and climate. Participants will find that as they tend their plants and gardens, they will also tend their body, mind and spirit.
Virtual group session hosted by the UNC Farm at Penny Lane. This group provides nature-based therapeutic activities as a group to encourage physical activity and regular outdoor time. Participants are encouraged to care for plants independently during the week in their own gardens, or potted plants provided by the Farm, and then meet to discuss their plants.

Weekly on Mondays from 3-4pm
