DESCRIPTION:The UNC Institute for Best Practices is hosting a FREE Follow-Along Supports Webinar for ACT and IPS Teams in North Carolina.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\nThe UNC Institute for Best Practices is hosting a FREE Follow-Along Supports Training for IPS Teams (Team Leads\, Employment Specialists\, and Employment Peer Mentors) and ACT Teams (Employment Specialists and Team Leads) on September 29th\, 2020 from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. \nThis training will provide specific information about the importance of follow along supports\, specifically why the first month on the job is the most critical\, how to develop a follow-along plan before the job begins\, identify extensive possibilities for follow-along supports\, recognize what supports are most appropriate for various individuals\, learn out to assertively engage and outreach individuals\, and determine when the appropriate time is to close a case. \nIf you have any questions and/or need any accommodations\, please email: penny_liles@med.unc.edu. \nWe look forward to seeing you there!
