SUMMARY:The Center and XDS Inc. host a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner for patients and others in the community
DESCRIPTION:XDS Inc. and the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health will continue a Thanksgiving tradition that was started  more than 20 years ago by Thava Mahadevan\, the current director of operations at the Center\, when he was executive director of a nonprofit organization XDS Inc. Staff and volunteers will host a Thanksgiving meal for clients/patients from the Center\, the Department of Psychiatry\, and others in the community who need a place to celebrate the holiday.  The meal will be served Thanksgiving Day\, Nov. 28\, 2019\, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m. at the Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill.  In order to provide a meal to all that attend\, we request that you RSVP by November 14th. \nThe meal cost is underwritten by the Center\, XDS\, and generous community donors.
