Help support the fullest life possible!

On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, UNC Health celebrates the international day of giving, Giving Tuesday, with a special one day only event called Tar Heal Tuesday.

At the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health, we focus on more than just the illness.  Our 20+ programs and clinics focus on early identification and prevention, sustained recovery, and proven clinical treatment.  We work with individuals with serious mental illness and their families to help our patients recover from their illness and gain the fullest life possible, one that incudes independent living, employment, education, and a rich social life.

Care is provided by multidisciplinary teams, including UNC psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation counselors, nurses and other mental health professionals. We emphasize the integration of psychiatric and medical care. Your donation will provide needed support for our CECMH programs, training of new and existing mental health service providers, and open up new opportunities to individuals with mental illness.

To date, your past Tar Heal Tuesday donations have helped us raised over $40,000 for initiatives like…
