Claudia Driver, MA, LMFT, LCAS, is the\u00a0clinical director and family therapist at Wake UNC STEP (Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program) Clinic at Carr Mill.<\/p>\n
Her responsibilities include supervising therapist clinicians, assisting with the development of clinical policies, leading both administrative and treatment meetings, and partnering with other Center programs. Driver\u2019s clinical responsibilities include individual therapy and family therapy for those patients diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and co-occurring substance abuse disorders.<\/p>\n
Driver joined the Center in November 201 as clinical director at Wake Encompass.. Previously, she worked in Colorado Springs, Colo. as a program manager for AspenPointe, Community Mental Health Center. She received an undergraduate degree in social sciences and masters in psychology\/marriage and family therapy from Chapman University in Orange, Calif.<\/p>\n
Her clinical interests include the treatment of trauma and the impact on SPMI recovery, co-occurring substance abuse disorders, and family therapy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
