The combined resources and expertise of both types of service providers benefit individuals receiving services.<\/p>\n<p>Regularly scheduled monthly meetings provide opportunities to celebrate successes and generate solutions to help people achieve their employment and education goals. IPS team members and EIPD counselors frequently contact each other between meetings to provide updates, discuss emerging needs, and share resources.<\/p>\n<p>The North Carolina Collaborative for Ongoing Recovery through Employment (NC CORE) utilizes the IPS model through a Value-Based Contracting Milestone payment methodology. IPS providers connect eligible members of their caseload to EIPD to facilitate sequential service delivery and funding.
