It provides comprehensive services to people with severe mental illness in the community. Come learn what high-fidelity ACT looks like!<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<b>four-part live webinar training<\/b>\u00a0<b>series<\/b>\u00a0covers the breadth of high-fidelity ACT services and organizational features such as staffing and the daily team meeting. Other topics include\u00a0ACT Leadership, ACT Medical Team, and ACT Specialty areas, including co-occurring substance use disorder, employment, peer support, housing, and psychiatric rehabilitation).\u00a0 Other core areas include the use of assertive outreach and assessment and person-centered planning.<\/p>\n<p>This web-based training is led by Institute for Best Practice staff, Lorna Moser, Ph.D., Stacy Smith, M.Ed., LCMHC, MINT Member, and Jacob Schonberg, B.S., CPSS.\u00a0 Dr. Moser is the Director of the Institute for Best Practices<u>,<\/u>\u00a0which is a part of the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health and is the co-author of the Tool for Measurement of ACT (TMACT).\u00a0 Ms. Smith is a senior trainer and consultant at the\u00a0Institute, a former ACT team leader, and a member of MINT, and has held many, many jobs in her lifetime (you&#8217;ll hear more about that later).\u00a0Mr. Schonberg is a Peer Support Consultant and Trainer with 14 years of experience as an ACT-certified peer support specialist, as well as training and experience in a range of wellness management and recovery supports.<\/p>\n<p><b>Please follow the steps below:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1.<b>\u00a0Complete UNC registration<\/b><b>\u00a0Link\u00a0for\u00a0<\/b><b>the Event.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We apologize that each individual must be registered and paid for separately. Please pay close attention to the ticket pricing when registering, as there are several options available. Please see our monthly Round Up for the most up-to-date registration link.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0<b>Access the emailed link to GoToWebinar and complete your final registration.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After completing the UNC Registration, where payment is submitted, an automatic email will be sent to the registered participant&#8217;s email with the link to GoToWebinar. This is the platform we use for training. Check your junk\/spam folders for all communication. If you do not register for GoToWebinar, you will not have access to the event.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<b>Login with your unique access link and registered email.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>It is important that\u00a0<b>you log in with your unique access link<\/b>\u00a0<b>across all four days of training<\/b>. GoToWebinar tracks attendance for each registered person.
