Director, Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Gilmore started the Schizophrenia Treatment and Evaluation Program (STEP) in 1992. He then went on to found and direct the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health (CECMH) in 2009. Under his leadership the CECMH has expanded the STEP program as well as twenty additional patient and community focused programs into a leader in Whole Person Care for individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
