The Center’s Farm at Penny Lane, which houses our innovative recovery and rehabilitation programs for individuals with severe mental illness, was featured in the March issue of the Carolina Alumni Review, courtesy of writer David Brown. This nearly 40-acre farm, located in Pittsboro, approximately, six miles from the UNC-Chapel Hill Campus, is home to a Community Garden, our Horticulture Therapy Program, bees, chickens and those cute puppies from our Puppy Development Center at Penny Lane. The puppies, including TRESSIE, were particularly pleased to be part of the article. Take a look; you’ll love it!<\/p>\n
