The Center welcomes to its advisory board: Brianne Brown, PsyD, a clinical psychologist and senior medical science liaison for neuroscience medical affairs at Janssen Scientific Affairs; David Pope, a senior manager at US Energy, SAS, and team leader of data scientists and technical architects who enable customers to gain value from implementing analytics in the US. Energy and Manufacturing industries, and Curtis Massey, JD, a senior assistant attorney with the Durham County Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Janssen in 2014, Brianne Brown held positions at MedAvante and Princeton House Behavioral Health. Brown\u2019s scientific interests include mental health conditions and evidence-based treatments, clinical research to advance the field psychiatry, and innovations in the psychiatric healthcare landscape. She received a doctorate and a master\u2019s degree in clinical psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n

David Page has more than 28 years of business experience at SAS including research and development, IT, sales and marketing in the Americas and Europe. He holds 13 patents for SAS and wrote a book: Big Data Analytics with SAS<\/em>. He earned a bachelor\u2019s degree in industry engineering and a computer programming certificate from North Carolina State University.<\/p>\n Prior to his current position at the Durham County Attorney’s Office, Curtis Massey served as legal advisor for the Durham County Sheriff\u2019s Office. Additionally, he worked in the correction section of the N.C. Attorney General\u2019s Office and served on active duty in the U.S. Navy, Judge Advocate General\u2019s Corps. Massey received his law degree from the College of William and Mary, and his bachelor of arts’ degree with a certificate in Latin American studies from the University of Florida.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is a pleasure to welcome Brianne, David and Curtis to our advisory board,\u201d said John Gilmore, MD, director of the Center, vice chair of Research and Scientific Affairs. Eure professor of psychiatry, in the UNC Department of Psychiatry \u201cI look forward to working with them.\u201d<\/p>\n The Board supports the mission of the Center by advising and assisting in the development of its overall strategy. Board members will serve as advocates for the Center to increase its visibility internally and externally and assist in fundraising efforts.
