Summary Statement:

Dr. Hall sees patients with UNC’s Assertive Community Treatment Team and with UNC’s STEP programs in Carrboro and Raleigh.  His areas of expertise include the treatment of individuals with serious mental illness in both office-based and community settings and the treatment of individuals with co-occurring substance use and serious mental illness.  Administrative responsibilities include direction of all outpatient clinics as Director of Outpatient Psychiatry. Teaching responsibilities include resident and student education in treatment of psychotic disorders.  Areas of interest include use of information technology in behavioral health services, team-based care delivery, expansion of access to care, and integration of behavioral and physical health.
