Rachel is a research assistant for CEED in the Department of Psychiatry. She began as an undergraduate intern at CEED in 2014 and her previous projects include Optimizing Technology in the Treatment of Bulimia Nervosa (CBT4BN), Uniting couples In the Treatment of Eating disorders (UNITE), Eating Disorder Symptoms across the Menstrual Cycle, and the Anorexia Nervosa Genetics Initiative (ANGI).
Rachel is the onsite coordinator for the Uniting Couples in the treatment of Anorexia Nervosa (UCAN) and the Biomarkers of Anorexia Nervosa research studies. She is also currently assisting with Dr. Zeynep Yilmaz’s research on the shared genetic and environmental risk factors for anorexia nervosa and obsessive-compulsive disorder and Dr. Christine Peat’s research on the behavioral and biological mechanisms that predict weight trajectory after bariatric surgery. Her personal research interests include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Email: email@example.com
