Dr. Hunna Watson is an Associate Professor and biostatistician in the Department of Psychiatry and Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders. She also holds the positions of Adjunct Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia and Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University in Australia. Her research focuses on various aspects of eating and related disorders and has included projects on diagnostic nosology, psychopharmacology, clinical trials, psychotherapeutic treatment, epidemiology, etiology, and comorbidity. Dr. Watson’s research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals including International Journal of Eating Disorders, Eating Behaviors, Comprehensive Psychiatry, Behaviour Research and Therapy, and Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry. She has co-authored several book chapters on eating and other psychological disorders, and presented her research at national and international conferences. She is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Eating Disorders and is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders.
