Driving Directions

From Interstate 40 (from Raleigh and points east)

  • Take Exit 273-A (Hwy 54) towards Chapel Hill
  • After approximately 3 miles, turn onto 15-501 South
  • Go approximately 0.9 mile, then turn right onto Manning Drive
  • UNC Hospitals is 1.0 mile on right

From Interstate 85 (Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro)

  • From I-85 take I-40 East towards Raleigh
  • Take Exit 273 (Hwy 54) and turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Hwy 54 West
  • After approximately 3 miles, turn onto 15-501 South
  • Go approximately 0.9 mile, then turn right onto Manning Drive
  • UNC Hospitals is 1.0 mile on right

From Interstate 85  (Durham and points north)

  • Follow I-85 to intersection with Hwy 15-501 South
  • Follow 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill; the highway will divide
  • Remain on 15-501 South (Bypass) bearing left, away from Franklin Street
  • Turn right onto Manning Drive
  • UNC Hospitals is 1.0 mile on right

Parking

  • Once on Manning Drive, after about 1 mile, turn left onto East Drive
  • Turn right into the visitor parking deck (Dogwood Deck)
  • Go to the 2nd Floor of the parking deck
  • Take the covered skywalk on the far right corner of the parking deck
    to the Neurosciences Hospital entrance
  • The Psychiatry Residency Education office is located on the Third Floor of the Neurosciences Hospital
