It can feel like your mind is playing tricks on you. the experiences include hallucinations (seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there), delusions (false beliefs), and disorganized thinking and\/or behavior.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<div>\n<h2><strong>Resources for Psychosis<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bs-callout bs-callout-info\">\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/epi-nc\/clinic-locations\/\">Clinic Locations<\/a><\/h3>\n<div class=\"row  oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-8 col-md-12 col-xs-12 col-sm-12 oscitas-bootstrap-container\">\nWe understand that finding support can be difficult and confusing. EPI-NC has developed a list of resources available throughout North Carolina that can be found on the Clinic Locations page. The goal of the Bolster Project is to evaluate the delivery of an app intervention. This app is designed to help caregivers improve their communication and coping skills, facilitate treatment-seeking, and expand knowledge of mental health illnesses and their treatments.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Support for Everyone<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"bs-callout bs-callout-info\">\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/epi-nc\/for-individuals-experiencing-psychosis\/\">Individuals Experiencing Psychosis Support<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>EPI-NC understands that experiencing psychosis or receiving the diagnosis of a psychotic disorder can be stressful and isolating. We hope to provide resources created by and for people experiencing psychosis. This page offers a collection of first-hand accounts of psychosis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bs-callout bs-callout-info\">\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/epi-nc\/for-caregivers\/\">Caregiver Support<\/a><\/h3>\n<p class=\"pr-sm-0 has-merriweather-sans-font-family\">Caring for a loved one experiencing psychosis can be a stressful time in your life. EPI-NC has compiled a list of resources that other caregivers found useful when navigating their loved ones\u2019 psychotic disorder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bs-callout bs-callout-info\">\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/epi-nc\/for-clinicians-2\/\">Clinician Support<\/a><\/h3>\n<p class=\"pr-sm-0 has-merriweather-sans-font-family\">EPI-NC strives to spread awareness about First Episode Psychosis by making the most up to date best practices available to all clinicians in North Carolina. We offer onboarding materials, continuing education, and troubleshooting assistance.
