Alexius is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate who is excited to serve on the UNC Old Well ACT Team. She is passionate about addressing the stigma often experienced by individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) and housing instability. Alexius approaches her work with empathy, compassion, and understanding, and is committed to advocating for every individual to treated with dignity, respect, and access to quality health care, safety, and the support needed to achieve lasting stability. She believes every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and strives to empower those she serves by recognizing their strengths, supporting their recovery, and promoting lasting stability and improved quality of life.
