About
Dr. Rachel Harrison is a general adult psychiatrist, whose clinical roles include outpatient general psychiatric care for adults with mood and personality disorders, as well as those with severe persistent mental illness. She is involved in the care of more specialized populations through her work in sports psychiatry with the athletes of the University of North Carolina, and evaluation of psychiatric needs of veterans and retired athletes. Her other interests include advocacy for improving access to mental health care, working with medical students and residents, and caring for neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ individuals.
