Once we receive your application, we will carefully consider you for an interview invitation.<\/p>\n<p>We currently accept both Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and ACLP Common applications. All applications will be reviewed and considered equally, regardless of submission method. Our goal is to make the application process as seamless as possible. This includes Canadian medical graduates as of 1\/2025.\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in general adult psychiatry.<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have a J-1 visa as UNC Health Care does not sponsor H-1B visas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You are welcome to submit an optional writing sample(s) as a supplement to your application. These may include but are not limited to a case report, research paper, or literature review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"www-somHeader\">Interviews<\/h2>\n<p>In accordance with recommendations from the ACLP Executive Committee, AADPRT, and AAMC, we will continue to host virtual interviews during Fridays in October. Applicants are invited to join an interactive day consisting of a program information session; interviews with the program director and CL faculty members; attendance at our weekly CL Case Conference; Q&amp;A session with current fellows; and an optional \u201cvirtual happy hour\u201d to get to know our faculty and fellows in a more casual setting.
