IMPACTT-NC accepts\u00a0most\u00a0Medicaid\u00a0plans\u00a0and is in network with most major insurance types.\u00a0Caregivers are encouraged to check insurance benefits before a visit as coverage may vary.\u00a0If\u00a0families are\u00a0concerned about affording the program, please contact IMPACTT-NC for more information about\u00a0options available for those without insurance\u00a0or other financial barriers. IMPACTT-NC has\u00a0options that may be able to\u00a0assist, including\u00a0UNC Health\u2019s Financial Assistance Program\u00a0that\u00a0may help offset costs for those who are eligible.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">How do children and youth receive services?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In general, caregivers, community service providers, or the student can call IMPACTT-NC\u00a0to\u00a0initiate\u00a0services.\u00a0Medical providers using EPIC@UNC\u00a0can follow the instructions in the blue box to the right\u00a0to refer.\u00a0School faculty or staff at IMPACTT-NC enrolled schools can complete the IMPACTT-NC referral form provided to your school.\u00a0Call IMPACTT-NC at 984-974-1619\u00a0if you have more questions.\u00a0A staff member will contact the caregiver for a\u00a010-15 minute\u00a0screening call to\u00a0determine\u00a0if IMPACTT-NC is a good fit for the student child\/adolescent or recommend a referral to another program. Interpreter services are available.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Do students receive care over the summer?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Our care team works over the summer months and is happy to continue care of students. In\u00a0some\u00a0cases, the care will continue from their\u00a0home .\u00a0\u00a0We strive to\u00a0identify\u00a0a site through school or community partners that can be available for those who are not able to complete their visits from home over the summer.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Do you offer any support to school district staff and faculty?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Yes! Over the summer months,\u00a0IMPACTT-NC\u00a0opens up\u00a0our therapy services to the staff and faculty of the\u00a0districts we serve.
