The Pediatric Consultation Liaison service is a component of the Division of Child Psychiatry.<\/p>\n<p>The UNC-CH Department of Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Service provides comprehensive inpatient and clinic consultation to patients experiencing psychiatric issues while in the hospital for a medical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Liaison services include Heart and Lung Transplantation, Gynecology Oncology inpatient service, Geriatrics Clinics, Infectious Disease, HIV Clinic and the Psychiatry Consult Liaison Clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Inpatient requests for consultation may be made by patients and their families through their primary inpatient physician.
