Scheidler, MD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Scheidler is an Assistant Professor at UNC with an appointment in the Department of Psychiatry.\u00a0 Clinically, he focuses on providing psychiatric care for patients with medical and\/or surgical illness in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.\u00a0 He serves as an attending physician for the consultation-liaison psychiatry service at both UNC-Chapel Hill and UNC-Hillsborough, serving as the service director for the latter.\u00a0 He serves as Training Director for the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship at UNC.\u00a0 He also works directly to support and promote the mental health needs of other physicians in addition to the promotion of wellness initiatives as Associate Director for UNC\u2019s Taking Care of Our Own Program.\u00a0 He is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison
