Another area of work involves developing science education strategies for a wide range of students, from elementary school kids to Psychiatry residents.<\/p>\n<p>In basic research studies with antipsychotic drugs, Dr. Duncan examines biochemical and behavioral effects of the drugs in animal models. The models are based on manipulation of brain chemistry by drugs and genetic engineering to mimic changes that may occur in schizophrenia.
