{"id":16964,"date":"2025-02-25T13:45:28","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T18:45:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/?post_type=ud_entry&#038;p=16964"},"modified":"2025-03-07T11:05:21","modified_gmt":"2025-03-07T16:05:21","slug":"idil-baran","status":"publish","type":"ud_entry","link":"https:\/\/www.med.unc.edu\/psych\/people\/idil-baran\/","title":{"rendered":"Idil Baran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Idil Baran is a Research Assistant in the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program (CHAAMP) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">She received her B.S. in Psychology with honors with dual minors in neuroscience and philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Idil\u2019s primary interests include psychopathology, identifying risk factors and risk reduction, and stress and substance use research. Her interests specifically emphasize identifying populations of adolescents at a higher risk of stress related depression, anxiety, and substance use, in the hopes of increasing access to resources for at-risk youth.
