Cherie Kuzmiak, Chief of the Breast Imaging Division, earned her degree at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Science in Des Moines, Iowa. The recipient of numerous honors, her research interests include the interpretation and diagnostic analysis of digital mammograms, a comparison of full-field mammography and film-screen mammography and their diagnostic accuracy.
She is also an avid athlete and competes regularly in statewide Triathalons.
Marcia Koomen graduated from the UNC School of Medicine and completed her residency at UNC. She served two years on the UNC Radiology faculty before working in private practice for 10 years, and then returned to UNC to join the Breast Imaging division in 2000.
Sheila Lee received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 2002. She then completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Duke University and subsequently completed her Residency and Fellowship at Duke University.
Sheila joined the Breast Imaging Division of UNC Radiology in 2010.
Sheri Jordan received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship at North Carolina Memorial Hospital, followed by Residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She subsequently completed her Fellowship at the University of North Carolina.
Sheri joined the Breast Imaging Division of UNC Radiology in 2012.
