Over the years, we have been fortunate to train and work with some fantastic physicians. Our people follow the Carolina Way, defined by Coach Smith, a UNC basketball legend – as among the University's guiding principles: play hard, play smart, play together. The faculty and trainees that have passed through our program will forever remain part of the Tar Heel family and hold those principles as part of their foundation wherever their careers and lives may take them. At UNC Radiology, we are proud of our long tradition of excellence and our status as one of the premier Departments of Radiology in the nation. Our alumni have served as President of the American College of Radiology (ACR), leaders on the ACR Board of Chancellors, and Presidents of the North Carolina Radiological Society.
