UNC’s School of Medicine and UNC Department of Radiology were deeply saddened by the loss of two long-time faculty members in March 2017: Chairman Emeritus Dr. James “Jim” Scatliff / Professor Emeritus Dr. Robert “Bob” McLelland.
UNC’s School of Medicine and UNC Department of Radiology were deeply saddened by the loss of Chairman Emeritus Dr. James “Jim” Scatliff on March 4th. Dr. Scatliff was a 50+-year School of Medicine faculty member and a beloved figure across UNC Hospitals throughout his decades at UNC. On April 8th, the Department of Radiology hosted a memorial service attended by over 100 people on UNC’s medical campus to celebrate the life of Dr. Scatliff.
