Dr. Warshauer was Professor and Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology at the UNC Department of Radiology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has won the Department’s Charles A. Bream Teaching Award twice (selected by residents), as well as the UNC School of Medicine’s Teaching Excellence Award.Dr. Warshauer has authored multiple book chapters and over 50 articles in refereed journals on body imaging research. Since 1989, he has lectured UNC School of Medicine students and continuing education participants as well as Department residents and fellows.Dr. Warshauer has also held multiple appointments at the UNC School of Medicine, among them: the post-tenure review committee, the School of Medicine/UNC Hospitals professional liability advisory committee, and the curriculum advisory committee.
