Biography
Kristen Olinger, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at UNC. Dr. Olinger completed her medical school and Diagnostic Residency training at the University of California. Subsequently, she completed her Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Olinger became a doctor to combine her love of science, desire to provide compassionate care for patients, and opportunity for continued learning.

Philosophy of Care
I try to approach each patient as an individual, each with a diverse background that contributes to their health. I hope each patient feels educated and empowered after their encounter with me. I also consider myself a healthcare teammate, often working together as part of a multidisciplinary group of internists, surgeons, and/or other specialists to help guide care for a patient.
