Who We Are
At UNC Radiology our residents are a huge part of the heart of the Department. Each year we accept 9 diagnostic radiology residents and 1 integrated interventional radiology resident from across the country.

“I spent 13 years learning as a Tarheel, first as a diagnostic resident and then a musculoskeletal fellow. I spent half my memorable-life studying, training, and learning “The Carolina Way,” a term popularized by legendary basketball coach Dean Smith. UNC brings people with a passion for their practice together, creating networks that can achieve amazing things for our state and beyond.The institution has taken many chances on me over the years, and I have grown and accomplished thanks to these opportunities and the dedication of my mentors. We have first-rate technology, funding, Undergraduate and Graduate degree programs, athletics, libraries, laboratories, etc., but it is our faith in The Carolina Way that makes us unique and pushes us to be better each day.
