UNC’s Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging will be participating in the NRMP’s 2022-2023 Fellowship Match. To be eligible for consideration, a fellowship candidate must have completed an accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology, must be Board-certified or have passed the ABR Core Examination at the time of the fellowship year (a requirement for credentialing), and be eligible for a full NC Medical license.
NOTE: We are unable to accept individuals requiring a visa to train in the US.
To apply for the 2022-2023 Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship position, you are required to submit:
- The SSR Common Application Form, available on the SSR website https://skeletalrad.org/my-msk/msk-match-resources-timeline
- Original, official medical school transcript, sent directly from the school
- USMLE board scores
- Three (3) letters of recommendation, including one from the Residency Program Director and one from the Musculoskeletal Imaging division Chief
- Personal statement
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate, if your medical degree is from a non-US, non-Canadian school
In keeping with the SSR Match timeline, the application period for fellowship applications begins August 1st, 2020. We will begin reviewing applications in November. Interviews are projected to begin early December. Updates to the application and interview period will be posted to this webpage.
