Professor of Radiology Joseph KT Lee, MD, served as Keynote Speaker — “My Perspectives of Radiology: Singapore vs USA” – for the “The Perspectives of Radiology: An International Overview” session during the Chinese Congress of Radiology in November 2019 in Beijing, People’s Republic of China.

Professor of Radiology Joseph KT Lee, MD, presented, “Challenging Abdominal Cases: More than Meet the Eyes. Lee’s 6 Basic Principles of Image Interpretation” at the Society of Computed Body Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Annual Meeting in October 2019 in Denver, CO.

At the first UNC School of Medicine (SOM) Wellness Scholarship Expo in mid-November, R4 Dr. John Campbell, Associate Professor Ellie Dr. Lee and Assistant Professor Dr. Katrina McGinty won runner-up for their project, “Keeping clean in the reading room: An initiative to improve workstation hygiene.” SOM judges cited this project’s distinction in novelty, feasibility of implementation and impact on improving wellness at UNC Health Care System in naming it Wellness Scholarship Expo runner-up. The December 2019 issue of JACR featured this project in its “Case Studies in its Clinical Practice Management” section.
