In early January, 11 Diagnostic Radiology residents sponsored, prepared and served a meal at Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill to over 60 guests. Located less than two miles from UNC Hospitals (UNCH), RMH of Chapel Hill houses and offers other support to families whose children are hospitalized at UNC Hospitals for longer-term stays.
Program Director Dr. Sheri Jordan noted: “The support for community service efforts at the departmental level has been a key component of the remarkable success trajectory experienced by both our residency and overall GME programs!”
